Optosky's Water quality integrating ball can be paired with other optical accessories to measure the absorption of water bodies, such as river water, seawater, groundwater, etc. One end of the integrating ball is connected with the light source, and the other end is connected with the detector. The original water sample is placed in the inner cavity. When the cavity is filled with water sample, the incident light is absorbed by the water sample in the cavity and transmitted to the outgoing detection port, which can avoid the light scattering interference of particles in the water body. Integrating sphere is made of high quality PTFE material, the reflectivity is up to 99%, the light source through the inner cavity countless times integration into uniform light output, the light field inside the sphere cavity uniform distribution, and through a very long optical path (up to several meters) to improve the sensitivity.
