INSTRUMENT OVERVIEW
The ATE2130-YL Online Residual Chlorine Sensor, based on the principle of constant voltage, utilizes a specific electrode system, stable voltage application, electrochemical reactions, and rapid feedback mechanisms to achieve accurate and stable measurement of residual chlorine in water samples. This method offers advantages such as low maintenance, long electrode lifespan, and high reliability. It has been widely applied in drinking water treatment and swimming pool water monitoring. The electrode-based online residual chlorine analyzer eliminates the drawbacks of traditional chemical methods, such as inconvenient installation and cumbersome reagent addition. It features reagent-free operation, simplified maintenance, and no secondary pollution.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
The constant voltage method online residual chlorine sensor operates on the principle of maintaining a stable potential between the measuring and reference electrodes. Different components generate varying current intensities at this potential. Typically, the system consists of two platinum electrodes and a reference electrode, forming a microcurrent measurement system. Chlorine molecules or hypochlorite ions are consumed at the electrode surface, and the resulting current intensity is proportional to the residual chlorine concentration in water.
