    INSTRUMENT OVERVIEW
    The ATE8610 Gas Phase Molecular Absorption Spectrometer features a brand-new optical system and utilizes an imported deuterium lamp light source that complies with national standards for light source requirements. The spectrometer is equipped with a custom high-speed fiber optic spectrometer from Optosky (Xiamen) Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. It converts nitrogen and sulfur compounds in samples into gaseous NO2, NO, or H2S through chemical reactions. Using the Lambert-Beer law and concentration inversion algorithms, the instrument calculates the content of ammonia and sulfides in water.
     
    Gas Conversion:
    Through chemical reactions, ions or molecular substances in aqueous solutions are converted into specific target gases for measurement. For example:
    For nitrite nitrogen measurement, nitrites are converted under the action of citric acid and ethanol.
    For nitrate nitrogen measurement, nitrates are reduced to nitrites using a titanium trichloride-hydrochloric acid solution at 70°C.
    For sulfide measurement, sulfides generate hydrogen sulfide gas in an acidic environment.
     
    Molecular Absorption:
    The target gas is introduced into the gas chamber, where it is irradiated with light of a specific wavelength. This causes the gas molecules to undergo energy level transitions, producing an absorption spectrum.
     
    Detection and Analysis:
    The detection system measures the intensity of the outgoing light. Using the Lambert-Beer law, the concentration of the target gas is calculated, and the content of the measured component is determined.

    Simultaneous Analysis: Measures ammonia nitrogen and nitrite nitrogen content from a single sample.
