The conference will be held on September 14–15, 2026 at the School of Physics, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang, Malaysia. Co‑organized by the USM School of Physics, the Asian NIR Consortium, and the Optical Society of Malaysia (OSM), the meeting aims to provide a high‑level international platform for exchanging the latest advances in near‑infrared spectroscopy, photonics, and their applications in science and industry. International Keynote Speakers – Confirmed distinguished experts include: Prof. Hoeil Chung (Hanyang University, Korea; President of the Asian NIR Consortium), and Dr. Akifumi Ikehata (NARO, Japan; President of the Japan NIR Spectroscopy Society).

Broad Academic Topics – Covering NIR spectroscopy, hyperspectral imaging, chemometrics, aqueous spectroscopy,UV‑Vis‑NIR,FTIR, Raman, photoluminescence, and applications in agriculture, food, environment, biomedicine, optical sensors, photonic devices, and advanced materials.

Students and some scholars may register with a registration fee.

We also invite scholars to give oral presentations – speakers are exempt from registration fees and will receive complimentary accommodation and meals during the conference.
