    In the modern fruit industry, consumers’ demand for taste and quality continues to increase. How to accurately and quickly determine the internal quality of fruits during post-harvest handling and sales has become a key challenge for orchards, sorting plants, and distributors. Traditional sugar content testing methods require sample destruction, are time-consuming and labor-intensive, and are unsuitable for batch detection. This not only increases labor and management costs but also limits sorting efficiency.
    NY2300 Online Fruit Acidity & Sugar Content Analyzer employs NIR spectroscopy to achieve non-destructive testing of internal fruit quality. The device uses near-infrared light to irradiate fruits and, based on the absorption characteristics of different components at various wavelengths combined with chemometric analysis models, accurately calculates key indicators such as sugar content and acidity. Composed of a sampling module and a testing host, it can be adapted to various sizes of spherical fruits, with a applicable fruit diameter range of 50mm–110mm. It supports customized modeling for fruits such as oranges, Murcott, lemons, grapefruits, apples, and persimmons.

    03 Product Introduction

The device supports data output via Ethernet or serial port to host computers or PLCs, enabling rapid transmission and precise measurement positioning with hardware trigger functionality. Algorithms run on an embedded system, eliminating the need for an additional PC and significantly reducing costs.
    Leveraging Optosky’s self-developed algorithms, the NY2300 collects NIR spectra of fruits and builds partial least squares (PLS) models to control sugar content detection error within ±1% (model-dependent), achieving accuracy comparable to professional graders. For different fruits, users can easily perform personalized modeling to ensure optimal detection performance. Test results are displayed in real-time on a digital screen, and the supporting professional modeling software supports multi-fruit model management for efficient and user-friendly operation.
