Current status and outlook of the TOC analyzer
The TOC analyzer is widely used in the quality control of drinking water, industrial water, domestic sewage and production wastewater, as well as in the monitoring of rivers, lakes, oceans and surface water. It is also widely used in the fields of medicine, medicine, biochemical technology, laboratory and hydropower station.
TOC analyzer, which can be divided into three categories: constant (0-1000 mg/L), semi-trace (0-10 mg/L) and trace (0-1mg / L). As a TOC concentration analysis instrument, its basic measurement process is: taking the organic carbon digestion (oxidation) in the water body, measuring the concentration of digestion (oxidation) products, and converting the concentration of TOC in the water according to the measured concentration. At present, there are three digestion methods of instruments supplied on the market: combustion method, chemical reagent oxidation method and ultraviolet method. Our TOC measurement method adopts high-temperature catalytic oxidation method, ultraviolet persulfate oxidation method, and conductivity method. Most of the TOC monitoring instruments used in environmental monitoring are non-dispersive infrared combustion method. Its biggest advantages are: the instrument stability, good reliability, high measurement accuracy, simple operation, no consumption of reagents, low operation cost and so on.
Environmental protection departments of various countries are paying more and more attention to whether the polluters are qualified for emissions. So a TOC analysis instrument is needed as a detection tool. Due to the outstanding advantages of good stability, good repeatability and simple operation of TOC instruments, it is favored by many users.
In 2001, China's environmental protection department issued an industry standard for measuring TOC in water bodies- - -analysis method standard: HJ / T-71 2001 "Determination of total organic Carbon in Water Quality combustion oxidation-Nondispersed Infrared Absorption Method"
In 2003, China's national environmental protection department issued an industry standard for TOC online instrument technical requirements: HJ / T104-2003 "Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Automatic Water Quality Analyzer Technical Requirements"
In 2007, China's environmental protection department issued the HJ / T353-2007 "" Technical Specification for the Installation of the Online Monitoring System for Water Pollution Sources (Trial) " industry standard. The online water quality monitoring instruments allowed in this specification are: chemical oxygen demand (CODcr) water quality automatic monitor, total organic carbon (TOC) water quality automatic analyzer, ultraviolet (UV) absorption water quality online monitor.
These standards are actually "technical requirements."The "technical requirements" of the TOC water quality instrument stipulate some basic errors and test methods of the instrument, and temporarily solve the problem that there is no unified regulation for the use of the instrument in the field of environmental protection. Thus, China attaches great importance to TOC technology. And Europe, America, Japan and other countries also use TOC value as a precedent for water pollution evaluation index.
TOC analysis instrument, as an important auxiliary tool for water quality testing, in the future development space is very large, very welcome to use our Optosky TOC analyzer, I believe it will not let you down.

Using the Optosky TOC-2000 total organic carbon meter to measure water samples with high chlorine compounds can achieve comprehensive, simple and accurate determination under certain conditions. High chloride content has basically no effect on the TOC measurement results of water samples.

TOC total organic carbon analyzers have been increasingly used in the environment, drinking water, pharmaceuticals, electronics, power plants and other industries. In 2003, the four national ministries and commissions officially included TOC in the water pollutant pollution equivalent value table as an important indicator for environmental monitoring in the newly promulgated "Standard Management Measures for the Collection of Pollution Fees".
